Dear Friends and Customers,
Wecome
back to Esens Custom Fragrances after a nearly two month break. How was
your summer? For many of us, it was not so much a time of play and
travel but moreso an opportunity to re-evaluate what is important in
our lifestyles and activities. It almost felt like the "hunkering-down"
time that comes with autumn in preparation of a long, cold winter. Like
a hibernating bear, my summer was spent resting, reflecting and
assessing next steps on a personal and business front. Rather than
feeling guilty or worried, I honored the process and I am still
watching it unfold. With a series on my son's haircut as an
illustration, this newsletter outlines some of those revelations and
outcomes.

Web Site Changes
I
have been analyzing my web site over the course of several months for
its effectiveness and usefulness to my customers. I received
constructive feedback from professional designers that I will be
incorporating over the course of the next several months which will
include streamlining the home page and refining our products. This is
an open invitation to you as an Esens customer to give me feedback on
what changes you believe would be helpful to enhancing the site. I

Each
month, my intention is to end the newsletter with either an
inspirational quote or information that I think would be useful to you.
This summer, a dear friend turned me onto the writings of Florence Scovel Shinn,
a metaphysical woman who lived at the turn of the 20th century and died
in 1940. She wrote four short books in her life including The Game of Life, The Power of the Spoken Word, Your Word is Your Wand, and The Secret of Success. For
any of you who have benefitted from the Law of Attraction principles,
you will want to read Shinn's work. She was a woman ahead of her time
in teaching others how to work with their mind to effect their external
conditions. Very powerful stuff. I can testify that her writings have
been extremely useful as I have navigated the last couple months.
